Of Vice and Men...

My latest today.Do check out...

So Telegana bill was passed yesterday. And there are celebrations as well as some depression in the minds of few people. Now all this can’t be just only from the political perspective, right? I mean when Atal Bihari Vajpayi was in charge, some new states did emerge but how does that change the overall well-being of Indians.  Maybe the power shifts from one hand to another and there may be an ebb or flow in the vote bank but then what else? How does it concur to the sovereign and democratic appearance of India. Breaking and dividing and ruling…come on that is so British Raj.

The pepper-spray may have flowed a bit too far and badly for the minister and the chaos in the house that not only brought the house down but also the world’s eyes on us showed that look we can’t keep our cockiness in our pants. But all this beyond, what are we doing to elevate our status in the world… Saare Jahaan se achcha… Oh! Sure.. But how?

The vote and the hullabaloo around it takes quite the pilot seat while people’s democracy and rights takes a back seat. From rigging the poll booths to buying MLAs; nothing is sacred. And I don’t have a political angle in this, mind you. I am just a regular civilian trying to see the world through my eyes. Nothing is sacred, that is what I find. In sports too, see how tumultuous affairs keep rocking the sports cradle. Be it the match fixing fiasco, IPL scam or Srini’s exit, entrance and actions… nothing is simple in this neo-age of 21st century.

Then there is Arsenic In the water of the under-developed areas that authorities reject to answer about, Kejriwals question against the governance and that Ambani dude has really got our concern. I mean what can a simple civilian thousand feet away from politics do; except for sit with a steaming cup of coffee and open his big blog world and do the regular chitter-chatter with his fellow blog-lings.

Adios Amigos, my friends….

Untill next time…
