Happy New Year' 2014.....

My latest today.Do check out...

Hola!!! Hola!!! Hola!!! Happy New year everyone. Quite an amazing time, a new sun, a new morning and the fresh air. A fresh year to start. What more can one want. It's the time to clean the slate and start afresh. The oppurtunities starting to come again. The time when you can take resolution and make promises (No matter you can deliver or not) but still that's what we do. A crispy time to look out for the coming time, what distant future beholds for us. New relationships, mendig broken ones. Time to forgive and forget and forge new friendships. Make the new year anything but better than the past year. Let happiness ring your door.

So I guess evryone has plans. But don't just celebrate the first day itself. Celebrate the whole year, te new cycle of emotions and joy that has started to usher new new possibilities again. Watch movies; there are really good movies that are coming. I personally am looking for movies like August-Osage County, 12 years a slave, Gunday, Jagga Jasoos(from Bollywood) and Jatishwar (from Tollywood).  Or you can sing yourself to the new year. Beyonce is out with an earfull (and eyefull) of music that I wish to catch. Eat Party and ENJOY... But don't let it go like the year went.

There are obviously some things we all gonna miss. Like Sachin, Madiba by me personally. But there are also some interesting drop-outs that I am ginna enjoy. Like Bieber is out of music (my ears says thank you) and Uday Chopra from films (my eyes says thank you). But anyways it's your wish and choice. This yar is going to be a serious one for politics and sports as we are going to see some altercations that can really shake those grounds. And also technology just got smarter and easy living just got easier, thanks to some cool gadgets. For me Google Glass stood out.

Anyways have a blast... Enjoy to the fullest. Make 2014 the year to remember. To the new year... Eat drink party.... Hic!!! Hic!! Hurray....

Untill next time.....

Nirbhaya Divas-The Day India stood still

My latest today.Do check out...

The black day has arrived once again. However we may not want it. However we try to forget it try to cover up with amenities, the dipping chill, and the oncoming celebrations nothing; nothing covers up the fact that on this day humanity bowed out of society after being ruthlessly kicked and the India woke up to a black day although the sky was clear. India lost its innocence. The trial has ended and justice has been served. But has the circumstances has never been just. The helpless father was quoted today in a leading daily as “our tears have not dried.” And how can they be? Like a captain who has won a far fledged war raged against him only after losing his beloved army.

The question is what did we learn from it? As the season of celebration approaches us we bring out our merry side to be a part of the fall but the fall in the character of the beings (Human or not) really makes one curious as to what are the possibility of recovery when the process is this slow. The count of complaints against such actions must have gone up. The speedy trials ensure that there is still hope lingering somewhere like a silver lining. But the number of cases, be it molestations, rape or lewd actions whatever suits you; I personally call all of them outrage of modesty; has not lessened rather has an encouraging increase, sticking the silver lining to a far-fetched cloud. One only hopes a new day may bring a new conscience. The papers did no less in bringing out the news in all forms and formats available, kudos to that. But what really makes this heinous crime seep into the deep crevices of humanity even after the punishment being so close to a capital one. God knows. Maybe it’s the hormones, but that would simply imply that all men have carnal characteristics and they can’t keep their feelings inside their er… pants!!!

But I can only hope we keep being alert and move with awareness. And if you can, try to think about the girl and what happened to the tormentors. There is still judiciary in this country. On this note, I have previously written an article bearing the same topic and theme. The site URL is pasted here. Do visit.

It has a poem etched by me. The post is named RIR! Oh unfortunate. Yes, RIR and not RIP. Because peace we can’t afford. But just Respect. Wish she rests in respect. Amen to that.

Quest for UTOPIA....

My latest today.Do check out...

 Why do we need another state, country or atmosphere; leave aside a perfect place? Why? do you ask....The newspapers spews acid attacks on the waking citizens and the news channels only shows shows that only causes symptoms of heart attacks for the people who chose independence for the dictatorship 67 years ago. Yet we are to secure a firm land of  democracy that would ensure a bright and fair morning each day. Well  grievances of the common man are always the salt of life but to wake up each day to rapes murders and infidelity!!! shocking to disgusting to boring....

 Well the rat race just ended and it seems the government is about to topple. But let's not talk about that right. I heard you get imprisonment upto two years for pointing a stain in the white shirt. So much for my voter card er... PAN card, sorry... Aadhar card... umm how many card does democracy and rights come in by the way?!! And that a new government can bring changes are he bleak hopes of the people who have to think about evenings spice while buying the morning salt (Salt just imagine the rumours of them being unavailable...huh) and to top that all Hon'ble Parliament comes witha  rule that makes Gay marriage illegal and beyond the 'act of nature'. That makes the gay people criminals right. I mean what it doesn't wander between the four lobes in my brains,where in the name of the puking(PUN intended...huh) morality does government find time to look into what a man/woman does in his/her bedroom. Or as a matter of fact who he does; when rapists get overnight bail and millions are getting squandered in the name of public works. Jan'HIT'kari you say. Thank GOD!! Sonia Gandhi opened her mouth. No one from Trinamul open their mouth. NaMo sir didn't open his Twitter account. It's ok that legality doesn't gives us this luxury of democratic consent, but common sense... et tu Brute!!! #RIPdemocracy

  Oh! and since I am still writing... on this topic let me give you another hint of why I chose to write about this sudden quest. Not only the anti-same sex marriage law is back there is also another aw that is back in a neighbour hood country. Afganistan just re-introduced the once  Taliban monopolised punishment of  death by throwing stones for two people falling in love before love and different caste love or marriage. America sends periodical drones to abolish terrorism in areas. What about some awareness, Uncle Sam...
Well here I have some lines, a piece of my own. Hope it captures the essence.. It's called 'Utopian state of mind'

Oh! How can I live in this nation;
well nothing is perfect,but, that tends imperfection!!!
How can I live where mothers are disgraced;
it's better to die with happiness embraced.
How I wish to live this hatred behind.
To give colours to my utopian state of mind.
For this is not the life I tried;
this is not the truth I cried.
Once ventured by democracy;
 Now disparity pried.

Untill next time guys...
