BOLLYWOOD-The Untold STORY #2

My latest today.Do check out...

Some of the characters stay alive after death while some dialogues stay alive even though the characters die.. Readers today as we were discussing about that inseparable aspect of Bollywood that covers few accolades of a success a film faces. Yes the villains. If you have read the last post of my blog feed you will know that we are going to talk about the famous dialogues and the lips that made them famous. (By the way do read the previous installment)

While the Bollywood reminisces the famous "Kitne aadmi the" the evergreen filmi threat, the reply of the erstwhile Sambha, played by actor McMohan is equally a quote to remember " Poore Pachhis Lakh, Sarkdar." It's what made him famous. Just a dialogue and no mention.Negative characters needn't be always villain. The famous dialogue of DON that were made equally remarkable by the BigB as well as King Khan was something to chill your spine with. "Don ka intezar toh Gyara mulko ki police karti hain. Par Don ko pakadna Muskil hi nahi. Na mumkin hain." Wow what a quote. Really made the film. The shady characters that support the protagonist by actually going against them were never considered of any importance other than teasing girls and getting kicked by main hero. It was much late that the antagonistic part was clearly thought of and a large and charming tide of actors swept the silver screen with their mighty voice and enigmatic personality.

Can anyone forget Amrish Puri,as Mocambo, or Amjad Khan the parts he played. The characters are like immortalized in the minds of myriads of fans. The Shakal, toKancha Cheena; and from Ranjit to Gulshan Grover, it was a sparkling side. Yet it took long time before people could actually congratulate them, that iifa could actually nominate them for their contribution. That they were thought a big part of the film. A powerful actor; they were too, nevertheless.

It is so obvious that people will forget the negative shades. After all the stars are out of mind as soon as they are out of sight. So do the villains deserve the shine too of the lime light? And do they get what they deserve? Even after they stop acting. Are they really happy? or the laughs that shimmer in our years are just an exaggeration of their mocking tragic life? Critical;, eh? after all it's BOLLYWOOD. Will answer all the questions on the next post. Stay tuned as the vibrant villains of tinsel town will come before your eyes, to show how talented they are. Plus some more facts to awe you?

Happy Reading...
